Location: Washington State, the wet side | I bought a glove box liner from R.E.M automotive for my 1960 DeSoto. Looked nice but fit so bad it was impossible to install. They sent me a second liner after numerous phone calls and another 6 weeks of waiting. The second liner was identical to the first one and does not fit at all.
At this point I just want to find a vendor that can sell me a correct fitting glove box liner. Any ideas? |

Location: South Central PA | I had the same problem so I ordered one from Gary Goers. It had the proper holes punched and fit much better than the REM. |

The one I bought from Gary for my 1960 Chrysler was a perfect fit. I've been buying items from him for over 30 years.

Made my own from resourced cardboard-ish material, using the original as a template, but of course that only works if the original is present and in good enough shape to use as a pattern...the original glove box liner in my car was falling apart, but still useful.
I reinforced all of the corners from the back with super strong construction tape, like the stuff they use to seal crawl space liners; damp proof, and fire resistant.
I didn't bother flocking the cardboard as per the original.
I've heard good things about the glove box liners from Gary.
