I bought a glove box liner from R.E.M automotive for my 1960 DeSoto. Looked nice but fit so bad it was impossible to install. They sent me a second liner after numerous phone calls and another 6 weeks of waiting. The second liner was identical to the first one and does not fit at all.
At this point I just want to find a vendor that can sell me a correct fitting glove box liner. Any ideas?

I had the same problem so I ordered one from Gary Goers. It had the proper holes punched and fit much better than the REM.

Gary Goers is the man to get it from. Catalog download http://www.chryslerclub.org/PDF%20files/GOERS.pdf
Read this as well before ordering, but he will and does deliver!! http://www.chryslerclub.org/PDF%20files/GaryGoersPleaseRead.pdf
The one I bought from Gary for my 1960 Chrysler was a perfect fit. I've been buying items from him for over 30 years.

Looks like REM are in eth complaints department twice in a week on here . The trunk mats they make for these cars don't fit either .

Made my own from resourced cardboard-ish material, using the original as a template, but of course that only works if the original is present and in good enough shape to use as a pattern...the original glove box liner in my car was falling apart, but still useful.

I reinforced all of the corners from the back with super strong construction tape, like the stuff they use to seal crawl space liners; damp proof, and fire resistant.

I didn't bother flocking the cardboard as per the original.

I've heard good things about the glove box liners from Gary.

I bought from Gary. Very happy, fits perfect, looks nice with the flock lined as original. We have to keep Gary healthy. Great guy!
