This 1959 Plymouth Belvedere was sold in Kennewick, Washington and remained in a dry Eastern Washington desert until about a year ago. The car is complete minus the rear glass, rear passenger door glass and the back seat. As far as rust goes, there is not much at all just a small rust through area in the floor and some rust on the rear quarter panel (all shown in closeups), but the original paint shows a beautiful patina. The drivetrain appears to be complete with a 318 that turns over with compression and push button automatic that has good clean oil in it. From the looks of it, this car was parked about 35 years ago and forgotten about- it has service records up to 1976. All the sheet metal and frame is extremely straight on the car except for a few small dents on the driver side as shown in the flickr album. I forgot to shut the doors on the driver side when taking the pictures, but they close well and it hasn't been in a collision. Overall, it's an excellent candidate for restoration. The white wall tires on this have only been used to roll the car. They have zero miles on them. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. The buyer is responsible for arranging shipping or local pickup. If the buyer isn't too far, I may be able to deliver for an additional transportation fee, contact me for a quote. I live in Lebanon, Oregon

Not a canadian car. Data plate on the cowl is a US one.

Odd parts are just that: odd parts added or changed on a very standard US 59 Savoy.

Canadian 59 plymouths were the same as the US ones, except for the famous 313 engine, and we did not have sport furys built here.

So, what's up with the bumper guards and emblems on the fins?

I do not find it very surprising that in over half a century, someone, somewhere put other parts on it.

What's wrong with the bumper guards?

Emblems, no idea! It's just a spring special Savoy
