I would like to have the build sheet for my 58 Plymouth, the Fury and the Belvedere GC 350 conv. I will be in Florida since saturday, and would like to have the sheets form CHS. Do I need to know something? I mean, is the service still active? Do I need to send copy of titles even if the Fury has italian plates and the 58 is titles to someone else and has a bill of sale and custom clearance? Would a check be ok? How long is the turn around time?
Thank you

Funny that you ask Antonello - I just sent a mail to them today if they reopen again the first of November according to their earlier information, below, please find the mail I got in June;

"I have attached a build card order form. The fee for this service is $45.00, payable in check order to FCA US LLC. If a check is too difficult to get, a cash payment is acceptable. This would need to be mailed with your order. We also require proof of ownership. A photocopy of the title or registration is acceptable and must show your name and the correct VIN. Everything can be mailed to the address listed on the order form.

We are actually shutting down our build record service from July 1st – November 1st. You may want to mail in your order, if you would like it quickly. Anything received after July 1st will be returned at this time. If you have any questions, please let me know."

I'll be back with info as soon as I get an answer......

It took me about three weeks to get mine earlier this year. The build date on the CHS cover letter didnt agree with the IBM card. That was corrected in just over week.

Now, two days later, they send me the corrected (CHS) FCA cover letter - so, my car wasn't lost in space for 8 months

Hi Sven,

how did you pay for yours , I don't think money orders are easy to obtain over here , they seem to want to do transfers instead and I have 4 cars need doing,

Thanks Paul.

Well Paul - Chrysler is way back and not openminded for new technology.

I had to go to my bank and change money, Swedish Kronor to US Dollars, in my case 30 dollars - put them in an envelope and mail it together with proof of registration and the order form.

Totally Gutenberg and totally unsafe, no way of tracing........

Well, my envelope made it and I got the punch card and cover letter....

I contacted FCA Historical via their website the other day. This AM I got this reply:

Hello David,

Unfortunately, at this time, we are temporarily not answering requests while we complete an in-depth inventory of our files. This process will last through the end of this year.
I have attached the build card order form. The fee for this service ranges from $35.00 - $55.00, payable in check or money order to FCA US LLC. We also require proof of ownership. A photocopy of the title or registration is acceptable and must show your name and the correct VIN. Everything can be mailed to the address listed on the order form. Everything can be mailed to the address listed on the order form after January 1, 2017.

I apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you. Thank you for your understanding and patience.
