I have tried to contact Rocker King - not sure where he is. Have been told that Classic 4 U is junk. Shipping to Alaska is a KILLER! I have a friend driving up from California in 3 weeks - so trying to order = floors / trunk / drivers inner and outer rocker / drivers lower quarter panel patch and trunk extension for drivers side. And advice??? Car is a 58 D500. I've been told the I will need to modify for power seat.

Try "Black Car"

With the stuff I got for my dodge and plymouth (from various suppliers), they are all close, but not quite right

I have 2 panels here for the left rear 1/4 panel, 1 for the very back and 1 for the center (most of) of the wheel arch

To look at them, they look right, but put them together (they are supposed to join up) and the profiles of the curves ect are totally different to each other

It would take massive work to join them, and they came from the same supplier (cant remember which one though now)

Trick is to use the minimum amount of the repair sections as possible

Good luck

If you have the six way power seat, you will need to build/find the recessed power seat pans. If you have the 2 way power seat, you should be ok with the flat floor pans.

About 10 years ago I needed a variety of patch panels. I got them from RCar in Rhode Island and Black Car. I don't know if either is s still in business but their panels worked out very well. The reference I have for Black Car is:www.blackcar-llc.com. I went through all of my receipts on my 56 Plymouth but couldn't find any contact info for RCar.

I contacted Blackcar about some patch panels that they list for the '57 Chrysler, and they eventually replied back that they don't build those panels anymore. Sorry. So just because they list it, doesn't mean that it is available. FYI.

If you want good, but expensive panels, you can get them here from Sweden. Not cheap, but quality parts. http://www.blocket.se/vi/40709229.htm
He lists them for Chrysler, Desoto, & Dodge so I guess they don't fit a Plymouth.

Warning, do not purchase those quarter panels.

I purchased one of those and it was absolute garbage. The bends around the wheel-well weren't even close to the way they should be. The metal was way too thin, like 22 or even 24 gauge. Nothing was worth using on it so it went straight to the scrap metal pile. A complete waste of money and time. You have been warned.

Hi Jeff,

looking at the picture of the floor , i don`t think repair panels are going to help much, there will be a lot of rust not visible and when you get into it you will be making more pieces up to join all the bits together, you would be better buying cuts from cars, even if it means cutting them into sections and getting them shipped on a pallet, John (Big M ) did have a full floor for power seat?Or here http://www.hernandos-hideaway.com/Profile_P101_1957+Chrysler+any.as...

Good luck
Paul.
