Location: Hayward, Calif | Hey Guys, Seems it's about time someone breaks up the 'same o same *hit'. I finally got the eng & trans out of that camper. The frt susp is all rebuilt and got the dash put back in. Decided to install eng & trans, then work out all the details before rebuilding the eng. Tried to get a trans mount at Napa today, went thru his whole book and couldn't find anything that would work. So plan 'B', guess I'l make one. It's just setting in place right now, but should be pretty close. I put the starter, oil filter & rad in place, doesn't seem to be any clearance issues. And can use center dump manifolds on both sides. Although would prefer a little more clearance between exh manifold and the P/S gearbox. Maybe some sort of a shield might be a good idea here. Seems to me I heard something about Chry setting the eng slightly off center to obtain more clearance at the P/S box. Had the wife on the business end of the eng hoist. That was fun !! I'l have to fab new eng mounts and get the rad lower outlet moved to the other side. This rad. is a 2 row core so thinking about having a 3 row core installed. That should allow that rad guy to stick it up my *ss and break it off again. Jerry
