Expert 5K+ Posts: 6498 Location: Newark, Texas (Fort Worth) | Script: Vehicle Description This 1957 Dodge Custom Royal Lancer 4 door hardtop has only 37,687 miles from new. Finished in Velvet Blue and Ice Blue, it still retains a majority of its original paint. The two tone blue interior is like new as well as the carpeting. The Dodge has always been a Colorado rust free car-- a true time capsule. The very strong original D500 HEMI ENGINE mated to the automatic transmission is VERY strong as you would expect. Options include power steering, radio and heater. Ready to enjoy. $24,500.00

Member Posts: 21 | Hi. I bought that car and it's now at my place here in Melbourne Australia. It is every bit as good as described. Not a scrap of rust, no repairs ,and drives beautifully. The dealer selling it had just replaced all the brakes including drums and wheel cylinders, voltage reg, generator , and new Coker whitewall tyres . The car had power steering but strangely no power brakes. Also had unusual electronic ignition which looked like it was from the fifties. Overall a great car.

Member Posts: 21 | Actually it's been here since march this year just sitting in the shed doing nothing. A friend from Ballarat vic came a week is so ago with his mate to check out some of my cars and finished up buying 2 of them. One is the 57 Dodge we are referring to and the other one is a 59 black buick Electra with 47000 gen miles like new.. The buick was featured in the fabulous fins Unique cars magazine article last November. Both cars are being picked up tomorrow and driving back to their new home in Ballarat. That 57 dodge hemi engine is so good ..
