Welcome to the group Dave. Y'know we're all going to be a bit skeptical until you post some pictures of your new ride.

Welcome to the board, Dave!!

Not too many of the senior series '60 models remain, that's for sure.

Hahaha....well it's not pretty and needs a full restoration ( nothing I havnt done befor) but it's rust free and 99% complete.Oh and it's a 4Dr.I know why would I restore a 4dr well because I love the look of it, the fins kind of hide the extra doors ,and I love all the oddities about it.Oh and I have been looking for one for 2 years In my price range and they are extremely hard to find

As John said, senior series 60 Dodges are pretty rare today. Ian's buddy has his old Polara
4ht. There might be a few others in the region ???

What is your location ?

As I said in an earlier thread; I have made numerous 60 Dodge wiring harnesses but most were ordered from Sweden!!

I'm located in Snohomish WA.I knew it was rare but I dint know it was that rare.On the way home people stared at it on my car trailer like it was a flying saucer. The cool thing is its not a rust bucket I saw a few online for sale but the we're either rust buckets or were in parts and pieces and needed severe work.

Rename your file extension "jpg" instead of "jpeg" and they will show up in the post rather than as an attachment.

Thankyou KcImperial for fixing my picture. I'll try to load a few more tomorrow.Well today I got the front seat removed and most of the carpet out.Glad to see the floor was rust free and had the original paint on it I think this car is going to clean up nicely my 67 charger was in far worse condition and its a beauty now..Is it possible if I post my fender tag number could someone decipher it for me I did some of it but I cant figure out the trim code or the roof color. Also if anyone has the fin lenses for sale that would be great. I want to switch out the chrome inserts in mine for the light up lenses.Or if you want to trade for some reason that is cool with me as well as long as the lenses are nice my chrome inserts are perfect. Thanks again great group will probly see some of you locals at the barbecue this summer

I lived in Snohomish for a few years in the early 80s. Earned my pilots license at Harvey Field.

guyman down near Sacramento is restoring a 2-door.

This 1960 Phoenix convertible is in the Portland area and has just recently been put up for sale due to the death of the owner. Very correct restoration with lots of NOS parts by a longtime Mopar guy I had the pleasure to have known for about thirty years.

Is there a link to the seller? Is it being consigned somewhere or privately? More info please.

Sorry about perpetuating the hijack of your thread.

ABloch,

His wife asked me to coordinate inquiries on the cars and parts. If you would like some specifics, please send me a PM so we can communicate off the discussion board. Thanks for your interest,

Arland

Ok well made some progress on the Matador. Wasn't quite as rust free as I thought. Gutted all the interior out of it door panels seats etc. Stripped the seats down to their wire frames and am going to have them blasted and powder coated.Got all the door panels removed rear ones looked fine front ones look like they will be fine if I cut new backing and spray glue them on.Going to have the rear seat recovered and I would like to find a set of swivel seats instead of using my bench seat we will see. I may not be able to afford the swivel seats unless someone wants to trade a front bench for a pair of the swivel seats. Also removed what was left of the headliner, all the carpet and the tar insulators over the floor. Also cleaned everything from the trunk. So the rust I found was only c/t the trunk pan so I plan to order one from AMD and then I need the 2 small pans where the rear passengers feet go and that's it otherwise she was solid. The trunklid wa salittle tweaked also it could be fixed but if I can find another one I'll replace it.
