But if you have one and are looking for a better one , then I cant help as I only have one spare for my own car , they are bery hard to find unpitted and with all pins . Last NOS one on ebay bought $240 US

Cutting the slots is the hardest part if you don't have access to a mill, so if you start with a license bracket from any random application and modify it, it isn't too difficult to get something that works well. If you would like me to give you dimensions from this one, I would be glad to give them to you. Expert Posts: 1737 Location: Hay Lakes, Alberta, Canada | Hi John, Which "emblem" on the trunk are you looking for? The car I have is a '58 Fireflite sedan, and there is only the trunk license plate surround, which has "DeSoto" as part of the whole assembly...

Member Posts: 21 | Hi brad yes, there is this Desoto emblem right over the license plate frame, which are very close together, but are separate when ... I think it is attached four pin. Have license plate bracket on the front too? Thanks John

Expert Posts: 1737 Location: Hay Lakes, Alberta, Canada | Hi John, I don't have the front bracket. There is a stub of metal there, where it was... The DeSoto script looks ok, a little pitting. I'll spray the clips with WD-40, and let them sit for a few days before I attempt to remove them. It usually works better, with less breaking.
