Expert Posts: 1348 Location: Valley Forge, Pa. | Its been 30 years sence I've seen one in my area. I wonder if the one in Morgantown is still there? Last time I went by, it looked like most of the cars were gone but there were still some of 30s-60s trucks. I'll try to check the next time I go through. Unfortunately north east salvage yards will have very litte left that is usable except for possibly stainless parts and glass..

Expert Posts: 1348 Location: Valley Forge, Pa. | I just googled ez pull in New Reingold, Pa. and looked on down the list. It looks like there are 20 or so salvage yards around that area. Have either of yu gone through them and found anything?

Regular Posts: 98 Location: New Jersey | I've only been to ezpull and in the past I've gotten stuff a fender for a 50 chevy. For my 56 ply, I've gotten a clean fender, seat tracks, trim, a hood, vent window assemblies, fuel tank sender, power steering column, my 53 f-100 I got parts of a frame I needed, my 77 volare I picked up trim, fuel tank sending unit, a hood, a windshield and I can't remember what else, and my buddies 67 fury has gotten a hood, some interior stuff, tail lights and other misc stuff. I've also gotten stuff for newer cars I own. 93 Caprice, 2001 chrysler minivans, etc...The cars change quite a bit (even the old cars change quite a bit) and some are totally picked over and some are fresh. In the past year I manage to see a 56 come in and I took a power steering column out of it and another 56 came in and it had a clean fender that I bought. What I like about ez pull is that it's a u pull it yard so all prices are the same. So a steering column is like $20or $30. Doesn't matter if it's a 2000 camaro or my 56 Plymouth. I'm going to check out Achey's used auto parts next. I hear they have old stuff but I haven't been there yet. I'm not always looking for parts either. I just like yards that let you walk around. I'm actually headed there Sunday since I saw some recent pics and they got a couple trucks I want to look at for parts. I've also been to the yard off rt 61 near Leesport. They didn't have really anything old enough worth mentioning. We didn't even go in with tools and were in walked around and out in a half hour or so. If you are on facebook, join the group "Abandoned and neglected vehicles" When you get accepted, search the board for a guy's posts his name is Alex Stelzman. He posted a bunch of pics of the ez pull yard from back in December.

Expert Posts: 1728 Location: Fleetwood, Pa | Try Criswell's Auto Salvage in Nottingham Pa. Not much in useable parts but it's a fun tour.... Last time I was at Engler's (2012?) he had about 1/3 of the old ones crushed and hauled out... Edited by sidesho_bob1961 2016-08-10 4:02 PM
