Subject: 1960 Chrysler replacement torsion bars

Hi looking for leads on new 1960 Chrysler torsion bars. My mechanic used vice grips and scratched one of them while removing it. Worried it's compromised.

Mike, I wouldn't worry, clean it up, carefully file or polish the area (or the whole bar) with emery tape, paint them black and put ém back.

If its a left side, there is an NOS 703 and a 707 that are Chrysler left side applications on Epay. I thing they were around $160 each?
