Subject: Heater hose location on my 56 Town & Country

When I purchased my 56 Chrysler Wagon, the heater control valve and the heater core were bypassed.
The heater control valve was locked up and the cable was broken.
I have since rebuilt the valve, replaced the cable and I'm ready to replace the hoses.
By the way, Autozone carries a molded 5/8 heater hose that is perfect for the 180 degree hose required from the heater valve to the lower core connection - part number B86050.
Now I need to identify which port on the my 331 goes to the valve and which one goes to the upper core connection.
I have looked all over the internet and have found several examples connected both ways!
Anyone know the correct connections?
