I guess we all wish we had more time to spend on car-related fun. I've missed visiting this site for the past few months due to my new job, but things should be getting better by the end of this year. I've also really missed hanging out with all of you fellow car nuts.

Anyway, I managed to attend a couple of car related events so far this year, one of them being the great Concours d'Elegance show in Lexington, KY.

My DeSoto managed to snag a second place award for its class. I was very pleased, but rather surprised, 'cause the competition was a tad stiff to say the least. What a bunch of great cars. A lovely Studebaker Golden Hawk won the class, but I was still very content that other folks appreciated my old FL car.

The show takes place every mid July, and it's a really nice show that benefits a children's hospital, and it is worth seeing if any of y'all are in the area. This year they had a wonderful collection of Chryslers, FL cars, and all of the 300 letter cars at the show...see my other thread with tons of photos of those nifty cars if you're into it.

Location: Branson, MO		Congratulations for sure. Your car is beautiful. I love the way the cars are displayed - kinda circular instead of lined up like soldiers. Gives a lot more room around the cars, looks much better, and provides more protection from "close encounters". Better angles for pictures too.
