I just found out he is not going to have it yet but, thank you for the comments. I just purchased the paint today for the car and the paint already has clear coat in it.

Although, black is my first choice for a 61 ply a factory red one would be a very close second. Either way I'm looking forward to the finished car. I will be starting the tear down on mine this spring if it ever stops raining that is!

Very interesting project - your dad's a hero! Sadly the Youtube link didnt work for me. I tried googling 1961 plymouth fury and found your video from 2012 but none more recent.

Does any one here use a MacBook Air and is there a way to resize the photos and post them here ? If there is will some one here please show me ? I got the inside of the trunk and hood lid painted I also have a new hood pad the original 1 could not be saved . I just started working on the engine compartment sanding it and getting ready for paint . My front brakes also locked up on me again so I will be converting to front disc brakes. My previous '61 had front disc brakes and I never had the problem with the brakes locking .
My dad is getting the kit for me as a birthday present.

I just got my front disc brake conversion kit . I will have front disc brakes on my forward look . My left wheel locked up so my dad and I decided to put front disc brakes on the car and I never had this problem with the other '61. I hope all I well with fellow forward lookers . I hope y'all have a Happy 4th of July .
I plan to go to the fire works in Athen and plan to video record it and put it on you tube

That is the inside of the trunk . I also had the inside of the hood painted and I had to install a new hood pad for the inside I was not able to save the original . That went in to file 13. I am now working on the engine compartment . I am also putting front disc brakes on the car since my other 1s locked up again .

It looks like my dad will be going to surgery in about 3 weeks it looks to me I won't b cruising with this forward look any time soon but hopefully I will be cruising down Highway 11 in Minor Hill for the Christmas parade the last Sunday of November . If not I will drive the green '69 Dart again and if any one asks I will tell them it belongs to.a little old lady
