Hi folks, I am having a time trying to understand the adjustments of the windows on my imperial. The service manual isn't too clear on this. I'm getting water leaks around the vent window frame and along part of the top of the window where it meets the roofrail weatherstripping. The weatherstripping is new. I know you can adjust the vent window and glass but I don't know how. What kind of adjustments can be made? It looks like the window is ****ed causing a poor seal. Here are a couple of pictures. Thanks

You need to downsize your pictures, I cant see what your talking about, but, with my buick hard top, they lined all the rubbers with
a canvas cover, basically, a strip of material glued to the rubber to allow the windows to slide on the rubber and not kink or grab.

I dont know if mopar did the same as my plymouth has no rubbers on it, just a box of random rubber pieces

As for adjustments, all behind the door trims and you have to start at one end and work along all the windows
as you adjust one, it effects the next one

Have fun

It's more or less the same methods as in this booklet http://www.imperialclub.com/Repair/Lit/Master/150/index.htm

As Mick writes, you need to wrestle around somewhat from vent wing, front and rear windows to get it all in the best position.
