Putting my new door panels on in my 56 Regent; I know the door handles are mounted facing down (mine were horizontal before removal of the old panels) but I am curious which way the window crank handle is supposed to face with the windows up (mine is a 4 door).
Just want to make sure I get everything back together factory correct!

I don't know what is the factory position, but I like to have them pointing down and 45 degrees toward the front. I think it looks best that way and it is a convenient position when you go to grab it.
