Just picked her up. Older resto in good shape. Gonna do a mild custom, new wheels, skirts, lakers and I do custom upholstery so she will have tuck n roll white and red upholstery. Want a cruiser that is different. Adding it to my Mopar stable. Waddya guys think?

I think it's a beautiful car though I am a bit biased. I have one also. Enjoy!

It's your car but if the stock interior is good/excellent, as is (or with a minor amount of help), I am sure that future resale will be better with the original interior than if you do the old school tuck and roll thing. Just sayin'

The wheels that you have are the mid-1980's Dodge Diplomat cop car wheels which have a certain coolness to them as is.

I am partial those cop car wheels. I've added them to my new to me 1956 Dodge Custom Royal:

Others have thought so too:

This is a version of a private message I just sent you (seems to be stuck in the outbox):

I see that you a) have a Mopar collection and b) are in Kamloops.

My sister-in-law lives in Kamloops and we get up there (from New Westminster) from time to time. Perhaps one time, you could show me you collection.

At worst, I am hoping to be able to drive my "new to me" 1956 Dodge Custom Royal D-500 (315 hemi and 12" Chrysler brakes) up for the "Hot August nights" show.

You now own one of the most unusual looking Dodge cars ever built. Good on ya I say, neat looking car. Get ready for the head scratching!

Steve.

Ya I am looking forward to customizing it. I have done the stock resto thing before. I like 60s styling with custom period correct mods. Dodge Cop wheels are okay on a newer muscle car but not on this car. I want smooth steelies withe wide whites and spider caps. I am doing the very tired original interior in a 60s custom style. I love the dual antennas so they will stay. Have a set of fender skirts for her and am going to lower it about 3 inches. Lake pipes straight through and a four barrel if I can find one. Still thinking of flaking the roof and some panel painting. I show my cars at custom shows all the time and this car will be a one of a kind. Love to see the 413 one some day.

Do you know where your car was built? I am wondering what the interior looks like because I have a '61 Plymouth with a Dodge interior. My car was built in Ontario and I guess that's what they did to differentiate the Canadian vs. the U.S. cars. Got a few pictures to share?
