Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado | Looking into my firesweep tag and there are a few things I can quite figure out. My car is a total stripper which is apparent by looking at the broadcast sheet chryco posted in another thread. I'm curious about the 292 and 472 and 481. I can't read the broadcast sheet due to low resolution for the last two. I'm guessing it's trim but I'm not 100%. These are the only options the car got.
292= powerflight
324= ???
472=?? guessing the extra side trim
481= Standard glass (based on other 57 dodge decodes)
LJL=Muscatel/white roof and sweep.
0111 Built around jan 11th 57
3146= 2dr sportsman
516= silver nugget/black black/silver vinyl door panels
Anyone know what 324 is?

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado | That does sound right, the car has the standard 5 button radio, single speed wipers, heater defroster, manual brakes and steering. This was a nice but basic car.
I've got a ton of factory options to make it nicer if I want. I'm on the fence about larding it up (Variable speed wipers, factory a/c, power steering and brakes, rear defroster) |

Location: Ontario, Canada | I don't know what bumper moulding is but that particular code has provision for possibly several other "bumper mouldings". It might be interesting if you or others could track that down.
Do you have a copy of the build sheet or did you get CHS info for your car?
I wish I had more Firesweep body plate examples. Both 57 and 58.

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado | I went to the car and felt around on the top of the glove box, didn't feel any paper, but i may have missed. Its not super easy to get in it right now. I plan to get the CHS stuff in the next few months.
The firesweep tag is same as the dodge tag in pretty much every way from what i've seen so far, so there should be a lot of commonality there. |
