Subject: '56 Dodge convertible top materials

Location: Under the X in Texas		What material did the factory use for the '56 convertible tops? Was it "pinpoint vinyl" same as used on '57 Chrysler? If so I'm familiar with that. The top getting replaced on my car looks to be "levant" grain and I'm about positive that is not right.

Was the underside of the material black, or tan?

My CRL gets a white top - same as it had when new. Curious what other colors were offered for the Dodge.
