I have everything I need from a '59 Windsor to add power steering to my '58 Belvedere with a poly 318 except the pump and brackets, the crankshaft double-groove pulley, and the hoses (mostly for samples so I know what to get for new ones).

I'm going junkyarding on Saturday and I'm trying to figure out suitable donor vehicles. The '55-'58 Mopar Parts book is confusing. It lists #1855152 as "'57-'58 w/ps, double groove, 6-1/8" O.D." It also lists #1852575 with two similar descriptions: "'58 w/ps, w/o AC, double groove, 6-5/8" O.D." and "'57 -58 w/ps, double groove, 6-1/8" O.D. Includes Hub."

The '59 Mopar Parts book lists #1859680 as "'59 w/ps, double groove, 6-5/8" O.D." The '60 & '61 books list the same part number with slightly different descriptions.

Is the 6-5/8" O.D. pulley the one to look for? I'm not looking for just anything that will work, I'm trying to set it up exactly as it should have come from the factory with power steering. Has anyone else been down this road that can share some insight on which donor cars to look for?

Also, if I find one, are they tough to get off? After removing the large bolt, is a puller required to remove the pulley?

Thanks,
Shawn

This one is closed. I was lucky enough to find a sealed power steering pump that was still full of fluid out of a '60 Dodge. The engine was gone so I found the 6-5/8 crank pulley off of a '60 Plymouth. Should be all set now - I think.
