Hi Guys, New around here. I am working on a 1960 Phoenix - and I am wondering if anyone know how the vent line on the gas tank is hooked up. Since there is no return - I am assuming that a hose must be attached to the terminal on the tank and routed somewhere?

If anyone has and idea's that would be great!

Thank you,

Randy

I don't think there is a vent line. I believe it is vented thru the gas cap...............................MO

There is definitly a vent line that goes off the back of the tank, that does wrap around the tank to the front area where a baffle is. That vent line has to go somwehere??

Thanks

there is a steel vent line going from the filler neck around the tank to the front of the tank where it is connected with a rubber hose to a short piece of @1/4" hook shaped steel line going to a higher, above tank, location in the axle hump/center. its held there with a clip.
