Where there only 2?  the split with the driver dip? and the split with no dip.

Swivel seats which are 3 piece didnt show until 59?

what about chrysler? Are 300C seats different? from say Desoto?

As far as I know, from reading the parts manuals and an interchange book I have, there is only one difference between the seats used in 57-59, with the exception of the swivel seats. The literature says that the Plymouth seats are 1" lower than the others. But the parts book also lists a 1" spacer kit, that can be used to raise the seats up.

Here are copies of the interchange info I have...

thanks

it's weird I see the Chrysler 300C has the indentation in the front seat? But some Plymouths don't?

I think my 58 Plymouth seats don't have the indentation but its Canadian also.

Was it maybe a Canadian thing to not put the indentation seat in the car?

In 1957-58, cheaper cars had straight back seats and "top line" models had indentations. Dodge Coronet, Desoto Firesweep, Chrysler Windsor and all Plymouths except Fury had no indentation seats as standard. No difference in Canada, nor Canadian cars on that matter.

My '58 Coronet got the seat dips, but it had the deluxe interior package or whatever that is. But what is strange is that I have never seen a Windsor, Saratoga, Firesweep, or Firedome that had seats with dips. I am thinking it wasn't even an option for them. But it is weird that you could order it on the Dodge, but not the DeSoto or Chrysler.
