Another member and I have been discussing the full size 126" WB frames.

Are they all the same (convertibles not included)?

Would a frame from a 4 door sedan be the same as a 2 dr HT? Would a New Yorker 4 door be a good donor frame for a 300?

I've read in the past where others here say they are the same but thought I'd ask again.

On Chrysler /DeSoto, the rear leaf spring length was changed from '57-58 so the rear hangars are repositioned at least.

I believe your question is more in reference to Sedan vs. Hardtop. I don't know the answer, but I suspect that the differences, if any, are very minor. I have a 57 sedan frame sitting in my yard that I could take a look at and see how different it is from my 57 hardtops. I will probably get to it over the weekend.

There is some difference between sedan and hardtop transmission crossmembers. Been too long to recall what that difference is.

Are you wanting to know if they are the same or if they will interchange? 57 and 58 are not the same as you can see by the above part #s but will interchange according to my Hollander by changing the #3 body hold down brackets and rear spring rear hangers.

I have a 4dr 58 Frame that another member here might want for a 57 2DR HT. Just trying to understand if it would work. Thanks!
