Location: .Norfolk..Mafia.. ,England UK | Hi,
Is the Seal on top of the power steering box where the Column shaft joins with Rubber Insulator a Internal or External Oil Seal,
Meaning a quick fix or a tear down.. Also IF a external Oil Seal any links where to purchase the seal ??
Also a Link to get a power steering pump Seal kit also..

| make sure you know what pump you have.
That's not for Thompson pumps. I believe the 59 dodge should have the 2nd type of Thompson pump and then there is a federal pump also.

My main leak is top of the steering box though , Was hoping it was also a quick fix on a external Seal,, Just need info or a diagram to show it, Google search doeasnt show anything

| In ordered my seal from online from the o-ring store, they have square ones like factory |

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | If you mean the adjuster screw/nut, then there's a very normal o-ring under the nut Clive.
If that's your main leak, just loosen and remove the nut without moving the screw and you'll see the remains of the old one

I mean the top of the Steering Box where the column shaft joins, Well that is where it appears to be coming from looking underneath the car,,

Location: Southern Sweden - Sturkö island | Ok Clive, then it's best to rebuild the steering gear, the steering shaft seal is worn out.
