I own a 1959 DeSoto Firesweep with a 361 engine and am considering replacing the 2 bbl carb with a 4 bbl. Eldebrock sells an intake manifold (#2186) and I have an Eldebrock 1406 carb that will fit on the intake. Various websites state that the 2186 intake will fit on a 383 Chrysler. Does anybody know if it would also fit on my 361 DeSoto and any problems that might occur.

The 2186 fits all B engines listed. The 361,383 and 400. I believe it would also fit the 350B engine.

Edit: it also fits a spread bore carb, not the standard square bore.
