I have 1956 Plmouth two door. My question is are the door sill plate the same for right and left.?
I have one and I don't know what side it is.

I think they will be different left and right because of the hump(s) for the windlace that goes around the door jamb.

Definitely true (different left and right) on a four door

Jerry: You are spreading the same question across a number of posts. Not sure if that helps you or not (I think not).

I don't have 56 Plymouth but I have 56 Dodge that was built in LA and its inner fender bolts are "natural", i.e. not painted any colour.
