I think people use aftermarket motors. Can get from ebay and such. search for it.

The motor must have 2 Windings for clockwise and anticlockwise rotation - not just one Winding!

I had mine reconditioned by the local auto elec for 100 clams.... like new.... no help to you if yours is missing!

Looks like '57 to '59 all model lines used same motor , the entire regulator assembly doesn't need to come from a Plymouth , Dodge , Chrysler 2dr hardtop models will work as per parts book.

Two different vendors for 57-9 p/w motors: Auto-Lite and Dura. Each had its own unique regulator. Be sure you know which one you need.
