1957 Custom Royal Lancer 4 Dr with the poly motor. Anyone try an x pipe and Borla? I love the sound of the new Atak. Pondering

Lots of purists here. When it comes to exhaust do whatever you like in my opinion. Its one of those things that can be reversed, made louder or quieter with a small investment of money and time.

I talked to Borla and they pretty much won't recommend any of their Atak or Cratemufflers, because they are "vehicle specific" and the only Mopar they have is a big block..... He suggested the XR-1. I'm going to do some more research.... I know I'm barking up the wrong tree when talking about modding a perfectly fine stock 57 Lancer.....but i gotta make it mine.

XR type Borla's are race-type (R). They are louder then their XS-series, which I have behind a 318 engine in my daily driver.

Well....brought it home last night! So excited. Existing 24" long round mufflers gotta go. I ordered 2 12" Borla Sportsmans. 2.5" exhaust. I'll post a YouTube link when done. Kids were pretty amazed by the car. Lol
