I just purchased this car from a member in Indiana. Our family really loves the car and have taken it on many cruises etc.... However, our church has just purchased a new building and are raising funds for the down payment. I feel moved to sell this car and take some of the proceeds to give to a better cause. I'm sure some of you will call me crazy, but that's ok. I'm not offended. The previous owner LOVED and cared for this car, but sold it to buy his family a better camper to create memories together. Good for him, I say. I am going to be putting this on Ebay, but I will offer it hear for less than my Ebay reserve. I truly think that this car is worth much more than I'm asking. I live in NE Iowa near Waverly. The car needs nothing. I recently purchased good quality red carpet for it that I have not yet installed. Please take a close look at the pics. They show things well. The car is not perfect but has done well in car shows. It is an older restoration. It has some signs of it's age when you look closely especially in the front wheel wells, but nothing that is very noticeable to most. The floor has a few patches. Other than that, it is a great solid car. Some of the chrome like the front and rear bumpers are great. Some of the chrome badges are less perfect. Please call me with questions. The motor and tranny and electrical etc are top notch. It's been on 4 hour runs recently with 0 issues. Everything works including the wipers and washers, all the lights, and even the radio that comes with a 50's cassette tape! 319-231-8974 I need $10,750

But your kids seemed to love this car. Is this because it turned out to be a Coronet, not a CRL? Seems strange.

REFERENCE: Just brought home our new 1957 Custom Royal Lancer at midnight!:

I hear what you are saying about helping your church but like the guy that you stated bought a camper for more family memories, you should keep it for the same reason. Your kids look so very happy..

Good lesson for them. They know that every THING is for sale but them and their mother. Lol. My kids are blessed with a lake house, ski boat, tritoon, and fishing boat, among other things.... we miss a lot of church in the summer creating memories. God is ok with that I'm sure.

This is a good looking car. I love the 4 door hardtops. Makes it easier to sell to my wife because it's so much easier to put the kids in the back! Now if I can just figure out how to get it to Georgia, and then find somewhere to park it until spring when I move to a house with a larger garage.... Hmm (mind is racing)

You need to be honest with your listing, As you now know very well this isn't a Custom Royal Lancer! but a Coronet Lancer....if you are a man of god as you state , and selling it to fund a church...be honest!....plus it could come back to bite you in the ass too, selling on known false pretenses on ebay.

I agree with Arizona_Mopar-Gold here..

You should definitely disclose that this car was not born a Custom Royal, and not use language like this "all original, non molested classic survivor!", when you know it's not true.

Just a friendly tip, here, so you don't end up being sued by the buyer when he realises that this is not what you are advertising.
