The part number in front of the R should have 7 digits (possibly 1853693). 9347 is the build date somewhere in late 1959.

According to my interchange, the correct trans. for your car should be 1854123. This # is for 57-58 300, 58 Windsor & Saratoga H.D. Chry. 59 exc. 300, and 59 Firedome & Fireflite.

Clarification, yes I am fully aware of stamp nr. What I am looking for is a match with my specified Cast no! Don Verity renovated a 300 gearbox with matching cast no. Even a N'yorker are mentioning.
For those of you who are looking for replacement a466 stamped nr look an the Chrysler 300inc tech site pluss the Imperial car club site. Philippe The Frenchy made a great job on collecting canadien no aswell!!
