It has the push button auto. From what I see, I am assuming the trans and brake assembly come in one piece?

That means the subframe needs to come with it from what I can see.

Do I need to unload the torsion bars first, or does the frame drop out independent of the torsion bars?

Do I have to do anything with the suspension if i am removing the motor and trans?

Any other advice would be greatly appreciated

no need to touch the frame or suspension. only the transmission cossmember must be removed. you will have to remove the hood too. btw, get a shop manual

I got the 60 shop manual. Wasn't clear on engine removal, or I didn't find the right part. And it was wrong on the cable removal or I have a later tranny. Had to come in from the cable side not the neutral start side. It calls for removing trans and motor separate. I was going to pull together. Am I going to find out the hard way that is not possible?

Engine and trans together is a big/bulky piece of hanging weight. I'd think that it would be more work than if separated. Are you removing the trans for rebuild or ? If you don't have a vehicle lift you need to exercise caution when under the car with the trans laying on your chest...use a trans jack at a minimum.
Ask Mopar1 for his thoughts, he has a 60 Fury.

We're splitting them. We're going to block the trans, pull the engine, drop the trans, raise the car, slide it out.

Pretty much the same with any engine pull. Torque converter is attached to crankflange with nutted studs.
