For 1959, I believe you could order the dual quad 383 Adventurer engine in your Firedome or Fireflite. If so, it would come with these badges.

That is correct - the Adventurer engine could be ordered on any '59 DeSoto including the Firesweep according to my '59 manual and brochure. However, it appears to be available only with the Torqueflite transmission.

Someone did a repro of these many years ago and aren't cast that nice . They come on ebay now and then . I think someone is trying to just call them NOS now . I have also seen genuine NOS ones and they are worth a lot more .
