Veteran Posts: 169 Location: Cochrane, Alberta | Rebuilding the front end on my 58 Chrysler; I have been sourcing parts through my local NAPA store. My car has its 4 original shocks still which is kind of cool. Obviously I’m going to change them out. Napa has a parts number for the rear shocks, but none for the fronts. Does anyone know a part number for front shocks for a 58 chrysler? Doesn’t matter what brand as I can cross reference it. The number on the original shocks doesn’t compute in 2017!

Expert 5K+ Posts: 9604 Location: So. Cal | I recommend that you use KYB shocks. They perform very well and are well suited to our cars without costing too much. Use KG4507. They are originally designed for '65-'73 C-bodies, but work on '57-'61 cars if you grind the bottom mount down to make it smaller. (mark and grind evenly, with water on hand to keep it cool) You can get them from Summitracing or Rockauto. Edited by Powerflite 2017-10-20 6:14 PM
