I've got a 61 fury aerowheel and a 1959 toilet seat continental panel that I don't need. I was just wondering what would be a good asking price. the wheel needs recast but the horn button is in great shape with no pitting that i can see, the continental stainless is a little dinged up but very fixable.

Hard to say since it needs to be recast. Someone will have 2k into restoring the entire wheel

From what Ive heard the 60s cost around $1400 to recast and people are paying around $400 for a unrestored "core" but I don't know about the 61s

The 1400 is if the wheel is in good shape. I've had 5 done over the years. I say 2k because anyone doing the recast, would likely redo the center piece as well. Putting you at 2k and 6-12 months to get it back. I've bought aero wheels from 150-300 on average. I still have cores. I've paid around 600 for a really nice one that i didn't restore but was aged considerably.
