I need help I am reassembling my 60 Chrysler and can’t figure out how the power brake vacuum canister mounted under the battery tray. I missed take a picture of it when I disassembled it a couple years ago....can’t find anything helpful in the shop manual..... could someone with the same vehicle post a few pictures? I would really appreciate any help.....Rick

I recall it's mounted in the wheel well to the front of the car.

Thanks. That’s kind of what I was thinking. But can’t make the holes line up. I was hoping to find a picture or sketch
of that area .....Rick

Pretty sure it's in the wheel well.
I've got a picture of it when doing my discbrake conversion, but it's not that clear.

Will try to take a better pic.

If your car is a Windsor, then the canister should be under the battery tray - the "big" cars had the canister in the Wheel well, under the left front fender just behind the headlight pots.

I'm pretty sure it bolts on the wheel side of inner fender with the battery tray on the opposite side. That is where it is on my 61 Imp.
Looked and on the Imperial it bolts to the front of drivers side splash guard.

I concur that the canister mounts on the fender well behind the headlights. Mine is a 1960 Saratoga, long wheelbase car.
