Location: Parts Unknown | No help here, but 35 years ago, I made a trip up to Z Auto Wrecking and discovered a slew of unusual and interesting cars there. One was a single headlight 57 Imperial. I was horrified at how ugly it was, but thought that car should be saved, just because it was so unusual. The look of the singles has grown on me in the intervening years. Wish I had saved those parts for you, but I was too busy spending money on other things there ! Also in that yard was a 1960 Buick wagon with a "longhorn" themed interior that still has me baffled as to what it was. Another car I hope was saved by someone. Good luck in your search. | ||

Extreme Veteran Posts: 335 Location: California/Wisconsin | I can shed some light on the 1960 Buick wagon, an Invicta Custom Estate Wagon. These were production models following a Texan show car by Buick in 1959. There were 298 built according to a noted Buick historian. A few remain and we own an unrestored one. This example has every option Buick offered and is a two owner car with about 40,000 miles. The interior has buffalo leather bucket seats and wood paneling on the doors with a longhorn emblem.
