Veteran Posts: 298 Location: Nashville, TN | I have been amis in my attendance to the forum. I apologize, but I didn't have anything to post. HOWEVER! in April I will have both my 60 Imperial and my 59 Desoto back from the pain/body shop. New paint and new upholstery! They have been gone for around a year while I wait impatiently for a ride!. I still have the door panels to finish on the Imperial because the power window switches are gonna have to be replaced with aftermarket, which means the drivers door will have to be modified. I will post pictures of them both. Sadly, I gave my 60 Saratoga to a friend who wanted it for his wife. It needed a new heaterr core and the disc brakes didn't come up right. The car came back from a very expensive paint job looking like it just rolled off the showroom floor. Since he took it home it has been sitting out in the weather still without a heater core and the power disc brakes don't come up high enough. I wish I had not given it to him since he hasn't taken care of it...not even a tarp to cover it. The 59 Coronet goes off to the shop when I get the Imperial back. I still need a new front drivers side parking light bar.

Veteran Posts: 298 Location: Nashville, TN | I don't have any pre-work pictures of either car. Thhe only pictures I ever took of a pre-work car was a 1066 Corvair Corsa convertible I used to own. The car finally died on me, and for the life of me I can't find the pictures. I'm good at loosing things. I lost the ignition keys to my 69 Dodge Coronet one time for over four years. I had them in a key box and lost the whole keybox. I moved it from where I always kept it and forgot where. I found it by accident I'm gonna take both cars to a park in downtown Nashville when I get them back. Nashville has a full size replica of the old Greek Parthenon which makes a beautiful background Edited by 69coronet 2018-03-03 5:38 PM

Veteran Posts: 298 Location: Nashville, TN | The Imperial paint job is finished and the chrome put back on. He is still working on realigning the power windows. This guy is fantastic. He removes all the doors, hood and trunk lid before he starts. When the car is finished everwhere is 100% perfect. He has not put the taillights on yet. They are brand new from Laurie. Gonna have lots of pictures. The Desoto is at another paint shop. I have decided to go with Spruce Green body/Willow Green top &Sweep, like the one Firedome has on a 2 dr 58. That is an awesome color combination!
