A lot of you aren't on Facebook, and this guy advertises on the Forward Look Facebook Page. So I'm uploading his photo here.

Wonder if this is the guy who used to be in CT who made really good quality panels, unlike classicparts4u or whatever it's called on eBay that makes utter crap, I bought a floor panel from them once and gave it away. There's a couple pretty old threads, can't remember the CT guy's name. I know at one time maybe 5-7 yrs ago, he was trying to sell the business. NH isn't far from CT.

I'm pretty sure this is someone new. He's involved quite a bit on the Facebook Forward Look page.

The guy has been having dialogue with members and taking suggestions. He seems to be quite eager to please.

the CT guy moved to Georgia, this new guys panels look better. The CT guy panels are nice and thick but he's semi retired. i bought a set for 400+75$ shipping i think for all 4 floorpans.

They worked good but they dont have the seat brace impressions at all, but overall the fit was excellent and the lips roll up to along the edges unlike the factory which are flat.

The totally flat floor pans connecting along the side is the reason these floor pans rotted out so fast, water gets in that crack and it never gets out and rots.

Attached is the CT/Georgia guys floorpans.  Its thick

Ian, he has quite a "want" list from so many people, I was hoping to get in line before you let the cat out of the bag! (JUST kidding.) Those other floor pans were from Bob, and the set I ordered were great, too. I know he had some challenges and moved into a different shop, but still got the pans to me. That was several years ago now. I think the whole set-up, patterns and all, were on ebay for a while, not sure what became of that. I've been following the updates from RSR's as well, and he's quite the craftsman and metalworker. I've enjoyed a few text exchanges I've had with him. And anyone who saves Dual Ghias is O.K. by me.

I ordered a set of fender top repair panels (for my '58 Fireflite) from him. I'll post some photos when they arrive. Very friendly guy who was seemed eager to help (which is often a rarity among FWLK parts vendors...)

'The Connecticut Guy', who is now living down south, is named Bob McGee. His shop was close by and I had him do some custom work for me at one point. Nice guy.

Yes, Bob McGee, that was him! ... right around the time I was doing my '58 DeSoto Sportsman Sedan I talked to him, he was in process of moving and then we ended up selling our car unfinished to Sweden (would love to see it now!). I saw some of Bob's panels at Jeff Nichols place and they were good quality, unlike the eBay garbage. This new vendor looks very promising, it's great to have a source that seems to care about quality!!

Bob's panels are a little better than the C2C crap, but it's annoying to me that he doesn't pay much attention to details when he makes them. He puts the beads in the wrong locations and doesn't incorporate a lot of bends like the seat mount area etc. No panel I have seen makes the body mounts correctly, but his are exceptionally shallow. It would be a lot better if he concentrated on getting the mostly flat part of the panel perfect without trying to make it bend upward around the edges. In other words, just simplify the panel enough so that what he does make is perfect. I would even purchase a single perfect body mount all by itself and gladly weld it in place. This would be a lot better than having an entire panel that is wrong all over but sorta looks similar. I just hope that this new guy is better with details. I'm tired of wasting money on garbage.

no the new guy can handle the details, Bob is working with wood panels so he can only do so much.

The NH guy is exact from what I see but he the panels have to be in pieces, not one big sheet like Bobs.

I know the swedes have a trunk tail panel riser area but its fairly expensive and shipping is a killer.  I know he is working on the trunk pan also, not sure if he's working on a riser.

Until this new guy can make panels like the ones from Finland, I will just stick with these.
