I know I'd figure it out eventually, but I'm sure someone here has done this before. How do you remove the headliner side stainless trim? 57 Desoto Fireflite 4dr hdtp

Remove the upper roof rail weatherstrip, and you'll find the rest of the screws that hold that moulding on.

And that is of course how one does it. Thanks!

Anyone used the Bernbaum 4dr hdtp roofrail weatherstrip replacements? Like? Dislike? Know of a better one? Thanks

I used the 2dr hardtop seals. Overall, they are suitable. But I did have a big issue with both doors closing properly afterwards.

The issue was with the outer of the two 'flaps' that seal the top edge of the door glass. The top of the glass frame would hit the outer flap first, then would stop there because the rubber was so firm that it could not get behind the second flap seal. With the door shut, this left a huge 1/2" or so gap at the top of the glass! I had to trim ~ 1/8" from the outer flap to get the door to shut properly.

This is a hard thing to explain with words. Hopefully a visual will help, even if it's pretty poor! The giant black blob is the window frame, looking at it from the edge. It is intended to fit up inside the space between the inner (left) part of the seal and the left of the two flaps. The first flap, where I have 'TRIM' was what was catching the top of the window and keeping it from sealing.
