Hello,

I am wondering about a source for rubber for the windows in a 59 Sierra wagon. Mostly the side rear windows. There is some damage to the roof above one rear side window and I will need to remove the glass to avoid breaking it repairing the roof. Also I will need a windshield rubber and door weather strips etc, but am not as worried about locating something that will work for those now, but if someone has a good source maybe I can get it all at once.

Thank you, Ed

Hi Ed,
Some of the wagon rubber is hard to get. But usually something can be made or substituted.

If you need help or advice, give me a shout. I'm just south-east of Edmonton. I have many 57-59 parts cars here. Unfortunately, no wagons...

think you have to try Big M. If he doesn't have anyone I know someone who has some scrapped wagons... its a 57 though, not sure if its the same.

Hi Brad,

Thanks for the reply. I've been meaning to get in touch with you, we are so close and have not crossed paths yet. I guess I will have to cut that window out and see what rubber I can match up. I am also looking for a dual 4 intake for a 413. I have a complete set up, but it's for a B engine and I was thinking of using it on the wagon.
I'm not starting in on it yet. Been busy with a house project. You should send me your number and when I get out to my shop regularly I'll give you a call.

Regards, Ed
