| Hello, Colorado Forward Lookers!
Can anyone here give me some trusted transmission shops that have experience with cast iron torqueflites? I need to have one rebuilt and I'm not comfortable with anything I'm locating so far...
Thank you very much.

Location: Falcon, CO | I had mine done last year at Pro Trans Pus in Falcon, CO (outside of Colorado Springs). My Torqueflight was the first one that Jeff had done, but he did it right and even welded and reshaped some of the original parts and pieces so that it would run for another 60 years. His website is: http://www.protransplus.com/home
And his BBB reviews are here: https://www.bbb.org/southern-colorado/business-reviews/transmission/...
Cost was $1,800 and that included the rebuild kit. Let me know if you have any questions.

Location: The Mile High City | Daryl, there was a member of the forums named Daven Anderson who lived in Colorado - Denver area. He knew or knows all there is to know about Torqueflites and Powerflites. I don't think he has logged on in many years though. You may be able to find him with all the web search engines. Also, you can try the Local Vendors section in the sticky threads. If you find a good place, post it there! |

Location: Englewood, Colorado | Hi Daryl, I just saw your question
There is a Denver area transmission man with 30 years as a ASE Chrysler tech who always brings a selection of his rebuilt TorqueFlites to the Tri State swap meet. I bet he is comfortable with the iron TF. I will dig up his card and call him today. Chris |

Location: Englewood, Colorado | Well I spoke to Ray, and he does rebuild iron torqueflites, as recently as a month ago. He is currently rebuilding a Hudson automatic.
He is retired and since he is now working out of his home he is not able to remove transmissions but says it is always helpful for diagnosis if he can have a test ride.
His business card reads;
Transmission Repair
Manual & Automatic
