In cutting up a parts cars for patch panels I have noticed that the 57 cars seem to have features the 58's deleted. A reinforcement brace at the body mounts in the floor pan at the back of the front seat area, bolt on braces that tie the front cowl to inner rocker and frame, a reinforcement at the front trunk pan body mount that rests on the rubber bumper between it and the frame rail as well full width one piece cross member under the rear seat that goes up over the drive shaft tunnel where in the 58's that cross member is made of two pieces that stop before going up and over the tunnel. I have not cut up and 59's wonder if there were any changes for that year as well?
