I seem to remember that there is (or was) a Doering Motors in suburban Milwaukee. I think they sold Dodge cars mainly. I may have even bought a new 1982 Dodge 400 from them. A nice enough car, but the 2.2 4 cylinder wasn't peppy enough for me and the CV joints went out on the left side at 100,000 miles. Traded it for a Thunderbird with the 302 V-8 (5 liter)

The office girl working the mechanical NCR cash register probably explains why the picture was in the Dayton archives. NCR was justly proud of the machines they used to manufacture here in Dayton.

Anyone have photos of Hub Motor Co in Lubbock, TX. Big dealership with two locations in Lubbock. That's where my 55 Desoto was sold new.

Gearhart Dodge on Rt. 46 in Denville, NJ sold my 59 Dodge. They were a Dodge dealership from 1954 until around 1961, when they switched to Chevrolet. I know the original building is still standing. Any photos ?

Gearhart became Schumacher within the last two years. The building that now has the Hibachi restaurant is where Gearhart Dodge was. How do I know this ? I went to Schumacher Chevrolet recently and spoke to an old timer that pointed that out to me.
