The description says a failed transmission killed the car. It also says the engine
runs, but does not say the transmission was fixed or the car runs (goes down the
road under it's own power). I am confused.

Plenty of photos including the trunk with transmission parts in it, but not one single photo of the engine? Really sharp dude.

Bummer. I thought it had gone to a restorer not a flipper. Oh well.

I would like to hear how he got it started with the converter and bell housing in the trunk.

I had the same question on the engine and trans situation. How did he start it? If the trans was in the trunk, what has been holding the engine up in place all those years the car was sitting?
