Assuming that the engine is a 315 Poly, then "Super Red Ram" is correct for a 218 hp 2bbl 56 Dodge. But I'm surprised that the "Texan" was basically a Coronet-trim wise.

The '56 Texans were a dealer-network created 'model' to sell directly to, well, Texans. They had their own logos made up and stuck them onto ANY Dodge they wanted to. So there are Texan-badged Coronets, Royals, and Custom Royals.

The state government of Texas saw the initial logo that used a pair of crossed Texas flags, and told Dodge to immediately stop using the logos for their brand / marketing.

Because of how flakey the whole program was, you will see a variety of badging on the '56 Texans. This particular car seems to have had the dash plaque (with crossed flags) at one time, but that is now missing. It doesn't look like it ever had the c-pillar badge. It is now missing all Texan badging except the one quarter panel piece and that would be nice to have. Probably not worth $2400 though.

This car shows just about all the '56 Texan badges that were available: http://www.forwardlook.net/forums/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=25942

The '57 and '58 Texans were built at the factory by Dodge, so they have factory part numbers for all their different parts.

What exactly were you getting with the 'Texan' Dodges besides just the badges? Was it literally just the badges? Or were there special features on the 'Texans?'

From an old thread (Good to read the whole thing because there are elements of BS in the info below):

For 1956, my understanding is the dealerships just applied the badges to any car on the lot they thought would sell better as a "Texan." I have not heard of anything that explains it better than that. The cars have been found as any model, any color combination, and any drivetrain combination.

The "ads" for the cars don't tell you anything about Texan-specific content. Just that it has "Dodge features" and a Texan badge.

The '57-58 Texans also don't have any content specific to them. Again, you could your Texan built as any Dodge model with any options. The big change for these years is that the Texan badges were applied at the factory as the car was built.

The video of the Texan commercial says "230 horse V8" at 0:27 of 0:58. That implies a specific engine package, i.e. the 4 bbl, dual exhaust, Super-Powered 315 cu in Poly head Super Red Ram
