I am working on 57 imperial pushbuttons. The green plastic actuators labels were so degenerated the numbers and letters crumbled off. I think I have them back in the correct spots but want to be sure.

It seems the reverse also pushes in the neutral button but not to the point it hits the start switch. Is this the correct orientation? My only guess is this is some sort of safety feature having the trans in neutral right before reverse is actuated.

Everything else works independently and pushes any pushed in button back out. Just reverse works the neutral button at the same time.
