No one's ordered carpet? :)

I guess you missed or ignored my 56 Dodge carpet saga thread:

I bought from Stock Interiors, supplied by ACC (drop ship). There were issues but they fixed them at no cost (other than time) to me. Happy enough. Price was great.

"Which might be Auto Custom Carpets (ACC). I ended up ordering from Stock Interiors and when the box arrived it was an ACC box. I ordered the carpet as

I did, years ago. Wanted molded, like OE, and ordered several, none really fit. Lots of wrinkles in the transmission hump area. A very frustrating experience.

My 61 NYer has the ACC molded carpet set and it is just fine. This is a four door hardtop and though they don't offer molded carpet for it, I had them do a little different approach to how the carpet was molded and it worked well.

The reason offered as to why their molded carpet wouldn't work was the rear carpet needs two little extension pieces sewed on to fill the space between the rear seat and the rear door sill. I had the opportunity to see how molded carpet was made several years ago so I asked the young lady taking my order to ask the folks in the factory who actually make the molded carpet if they would let the rear of the carpet run about a foot longer than they normally do. She called back and said they could let it run about a foot longer but no longer than that. The extra length fills the gap between the rear seat and the door sill as can be seen in the photo.

Looks.like acc through source is the way to go for these cars. I got the Essex ultra plush, so I have my secondary interior color.

Turquoise and lapis blue... I may go mint blue now on the car instead if willlow green.. I'll see how it looks once I get the actual carpet. I can return , i didn't want to go 100% turquoise interior...

I got my 60 dart carpet from Chester and Herod Auto Floor Carpets Mfg, 1924 West Mission RD #F, Escondido Ca 92029. Phone 760-738-4296 in 2010. The carpet cost me $264 shipped to PA. It fit well - they claimed to be a score for other companies carpets - I can't confirm that. Don't know if they still exist.
