What’s great about all of the ambulance / hearse conversions whether Desoto, Dodge etc is they kept the cool fins & taillights from the 1957-59 car model lineup instead of the generic quarter panel that was used on regular production station wagons.

Yep. That's the most dissapointing thing about 57-59 wagons. Well, that and not having a hardtop model like the 60-61's.

How cool is that!  Strange that it has no markings, no gumball, and is painted black.  Very unusual-looking ambulance.
