Anyone know what the original keys and keychain looked like for these 57 imperials? The keys i received wit the car are obviously not original, and the Imperial keychain with it seems to be a little too modern. Does anyone have an original set that they could share a picture of please?

I'm pretty sure there were no original key chains supplied with the cars, just the keys and the key code tag on a generic split ring. Sometimes the dealers had small leather cases with their logo on them. Never seen anything else. As to the post above about sterling silver keys and chains, well that's pure BS. I'm sure that post is spam.

I wonder if it is possible to contact the manufacturer of these cars and find out the answer to this question. Intrigued. Still, a keychain from a good car is something like a sign of the quality and status of the company. And many car manufacturers use this and sell cars not only with a set of keys but also with an original keychain. Although I lost the keys to my car with a keychain from the dealer in the first week after buying the car lol. I had to contact a local locksmith and make a new set of keys.
