I'll bet it's got that much into it, and I guess it's worth whatever someone is willing to pay, but this is a page I often refer folks to, which suggests even a #1 Firesweep sedan is valued at less. http://www.collectorcarmarket.com/collector-car/prices/1957-desoto-...

It would be nice to see the sedans getting some attention (and value) so good luck to the seller!

Beautiful car! It's on ebay as a classified as well. I actually prefer the singe headlight offered on the '57s. I just can not get around that interior. I mean if you are going to spend that much on the restoration of a (34,000 original mileage?) car, why not use the correct material. Or at least try to find something other than grey velour.

It's a nice turn-key car. But that price ventures into rough-but-drivable letter car territory. I wish him luck.
