Anyone have a 55-56 Chrysler Idler Arm mount they are willing to part with?

Mine failed... during cruise week here in Michigan...

Attention, something is not correct as for the steering linkage, which seems to caused a wiggling motion on the mount.

Check for bent steering linkage components first of all.

Once you get a replacement, mount the 2 lower bolts finger tight and leave the upper bolt loose. Have a helper turning the steering Wheel fully to the left and right while you check the eventual movement of the mount. You might have to add some shims for to find the position where the mount moves very little or not at all.

The 55-56 Plymouth and Dodge V8 idler arms had one bracket PN (1611 211) and the 55-56 Desoto and Chrysler V8 idler arms had another bracket PN (1556 306) so the Coronet bracket probably wouldn't work.

Good repair - it will hold, but I'd be looking for a new one
